About Me

Hi, I'm Emily!

For six years, I worked as a scientist in the corporate world. While I enjoyed the work, I eventually realized I wanted a career that felt more meaningful and connected to people. As I reflected on what truly excited me, I remembered that I had wanted to become a birth doula in my early twenties—but at the time, I lacked the confidence to pursue it. Years later, I finally took the leap, and it has been one of the best decisions I've ever made.

My fascination with birth started long before I became a doula. Ever since I was a child, I was captivated by pregnancy and birth. I remember being fascinated by pregnant bellies and the incredible process of growing a baby. That interest followed me into college, where my favorite course was Animal Reproduction.

Today, I combine my scientific background with a lifelong passion for birth to help families feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout their journey. Witnessing births has been one of the coolest and most inspiring experiences of my life, and I would be honored to support you as you welcome your little one!
